Reference Grounding |

|
Signal Reference grounding (SRG) is the most efficient way of
dissipating the HFI and helps to shield equipment from RFI so that
interference noise is no longer a threat to computer equipment.
This illustration shows the construction of an SRG using a bolt together grid structure and circling the perimeter of the floor and connecting to every-other floor pedestal. The perimeter conductor is then connected to the ground bus in all power panels. This construction creates an equipotential ground plane and allows connection to the grid at any pedestal in the floor structure. All server cabinets will bond to the nearest floor pedestal.
